We could ask Hannah if she wants to come to Zone 1 so she can give badges out ...

Oh, we've done that.

I did say "as previously mentioned"...

I was going to add "by Going Underground", but it seemed long-winded.

Is there any shorter name I can call you? You call me Ollie, so how about your real name?

Is it your first ever challenge, or just your first Zone 1? I haven't done a Zone 1 before myself.

I would love to come on the challenge. And will bring badges.

If you don't want to send an SAE you can get your badge ASAP by emailing me your address to hannah@hannahscafe.co.uk.
The PO Box is for people that don't want to email their address, and for professional appearance... !

I will also send anyone who wants an I'm Up For A Chat On The Tube T-shirt - for the event, or just for general everyday leisure-wear - an iron-on transfer.

The badges won't *make* people talk, but if people hear about the project and identify with the concept, then people will chat about it when they recognise the motif on your lapel.

And wearing the badge is partly just about personally identifying with the cause.

I think we all agree it was very nice to meet Hannah on Friday
The badges really added to the day, but how many were passed on during the challenge :?:

One of our "Team Needing Tardis" members passed his badge on at Sloane Square Eastbound platform before doors had even opened on the first train. That was to the guy from the Aussie press who came to the pub later....

Amazingly around 1hr 17 mins into the challenge we met Hannah on
southbound Bakerloo line at Picadilly Circus, so we got another badge.....

This then got passed on to a Lady from Bucks (who had American accent due to spending some time in Illinois). This was at around 2 hours 14mins into the challenge on Southbound District Line just before Earls Court.... :)

Does anyone else have badge passing on stories :?:

Aye - seconded. And it was a good job I suggested me and John teaming up with her and Chris, as my route involving about 4 or 5 road runs would have taken an absolute age, and I did need a bit of convincing about that too! But we had a good laugh and made, well, reasonable time considering toilet/food shopping breaks, and general just not being all that quick about things :D

Well I gave mine to Sam Cawley who was at the pub with Steeevo later on but couldn't make the challenge itself. Mainly because I was too shy and reserved to have a chat on the tube with anyone I didn't know that day.

But Hannah gave a badge to the busking Ukelelelelelele player on the Hammerschmidt unt City Line train, who himself was a breath of fresh air, and certainly put lots of smiles on faces. That, along with a fair few people chuckling to themselves, thinking "I'm secretly enjoying this, but I'm ****** if I'm going to express that emotion to anyone here!"

 4 or 5 road runs scheduled, our 3 was more than enough :!:
The Euston to Euston Square run is not fun, especially if you dont know which way to go from Euston :?

Your time was only about 10 minutes outside our and you all looked cool as cucumbers while our team were dripping in sweat, well I was anyway

I take it you probably missed all the hassle on the Victoria Line :?:
