I think the only 17-letter station is Kensington Olympia. Could make things interesting
I take it then we're not counting brackets as letters either (not mentioned in Raven's rules).

I think it would be nice to do this to mark the opening of the Northern Line extension, whenever that happens. It would give us a reason to ride it - not that we need a reason.

So here is a scenario for you team A) sets of earlier and completes before team B) who set off and complete before team C)

Team B's) time is faster than team A) and Team C's) is faster than both...

Do team A) have a GWR then team B) then team C) :?: :?:

I daresay which records get attempted when might depend on what other parts of the network are open at the time, and which day of the week the extension opens.

My guess is that GWR would consider all attempts on the same day equally (i.e. ignoring the precise start time).

3 different people broke the triple jump world record on the same day in the 1968 Olympics and they all counted as official world records, so why not the same for tube challenges?

Or everyone who turns up at T4 the day Battersea opens joins up as one big group and goes round together...
