I had an email from Chris Skinner and Richie Firth "Travel Hacker" about an attempt for the Overground Challenge which he did in 10:41:00.
They made a series of podcasts about this attempt and how they hope to set a new world record. The interesting podcasts can be heard here:

Part 2: https://audioboom.com/posts/7426616-the ... 2-pig-farm
Part 3: https://audioboom.com/posts/7432819-the ... ulie-berry
During the feedback show, they found out about my Explorer Ticket website and the revelation that they were not the first ever people to do the challenge!

Listening to the podcasts carefully I don't believe they visited Battersea Park and therefore is not a valid attempt.

Typical Richie firth believes and doesn't check nothing when he did underground attempt he didn't even consult me or Steve in his filmed challenge. If u look at half the people on twitter they still believe GEOFF is world record holder.
Only tube challenger to be number 1 in parkrun

Knock 1.5 hours off the time, visit Battersea Park and you might get close to the current Overground record!

Re: Richie Firth does the Overground Challenge
I listened to the first part when it was released and was continually shouting "PEOPLE HAVE ALREADY DONE THIS!!!!" at it.
I find Richie to be an entertaining doofus, he's not really to be taken seriously in relation to this but as all Absolute Radio listeners know he really does have a love for the transport system - especially trains.

Re: Richie Firth does the Overground Challenge
Just listened to the podcasts. Reminded me of my WR Overground journey with xcooler123, a couple of years ago. Loved them - very funny, particularly the reveal of Tangy's website from 21:30 in the fallout podcast. Richie's comment "this is utterly pointless" sums up tube challenging!tangy wrote: ↑08 Dec 2019, 18:11 I had an email from Chris Skinner and Richie Firth "Travel Hacker" about an attempt for the Overground Challenge which he did in 10:41:00.
