In terms of Round 6, my route was almost exactly the same as RJSRdg EXCEPT I gambled and did the rather unusual Barbican - Mansion House run (yes you read that correctly!). This got me a train ahead of 2nd place.
Looking at that on the map, there's no way I could have done that in the time you did it (especially with my dodgy ankles), even if I had thought of it!

The other difference in our routes was that you did the Park Royal-Warwick Avenue run rather than the bus from Westbourne Park.
Park Royal to Warwick avenue run 5.1 miles? And he still beat you?

My running is alright but not that good   That sounds like a run you'd attempt Mr James...

My favourite is still elm Park to Romford in the park challenge. That's one heck of a trip.

As per usual, I think I had a unique (i.e. wrong) route.

Goldhawk Road -> Paddington [Bishop's Road] -> Paddington [Praed Street] -> Willesden Junction -> Oxford Circus -> Tottenham Court Road -> Leicester Square -> South Kensington -> Victoria -> Brixton -> Stockwell -> Elephant & Castle -> Embankment -> Blackfriars -> Farringdon (by Thameslink) -> Moorgate -> Chalk Farm -> Camden Town -> Archway.

Yes, I used Thameslink and it worked quite well. 3 and a half minutes from stepping off the tube at Blackfriars until the Thameslink pulled away. I must admit it wasn't my original plan, but just before arriving at Embankment I realised I would be missing out Barbican.

I bet I was the only one to leave Willesden Junction by Bakerloo, apart from tangy who had to because he'd arrived by bus.

I got the Bakerloo out of Willesden before switching to the Overground at Queens Park.

If the BERC agrees, the Champions Twist will be postponed to Round 2.
Isn't there a precedent for having a meet-up point that isn't station no.1 on the random list?
If so, the Champions Twist could still be that date - Cannon Street may or may not be on the list.

As long as pre announcement of rounds 1 to 3 by end on June and u have no excuse now Premier fixtures for football will be out then not that I think that affects tube anyway. Do it so people can book pre advance rail for cheaper deals ones that don't live in London.

Sometimes taking a unique route can pay off - if everybody else gets caught up in a signal failure/station evacuation etc that you have somehow avoided! (I remember in the 2016 Tube Olympics DLR challenge David took a different route to everybody else and gave up part way through after having run the long way round King George V dock, only to discover at the meetup that everybody else had been delayed by a fire at Woolwich Arsenal (NR)).

As well as David, Kev, Nozza and Andrew B all caught the Bakerloo back down to Queens Park and changed on to the Overground there.
