The Orange One wrote: 27 Sep 2017, 14:56 As for parkrun, the obvious answer to this question would be Wormwood Scrubs or South Oxhey - but I'll let the actual experts decide of course...
And they are both mud baths in the winter  Suspect we may go somewhere else....
Hence why the experts ought to decide!

... and unlike last year, West Ham are away so it's only the shoppers at Stratford to contend with!

Stratford, however, we only have to pass through. Finsbury Park on an Arsenal match day, hooray? Chelsea is also at home...

The GOBLIN will also be out of action over this period. There is another block closure planned between 25th November 2017 and 14th January 2018.

F**k.

We all change trains at Highbury and Islington, at Highbury and Islington, at Highbury and Islington...

However as everyone has to come out of the station to take the photo, they'll still have to battle the crowds anyway.

The trick is to time the visit either well before the start of the match, or while it is in progress.

Maybe the original suggestion of an FP start wasn't so bad after all!

Even before the match is fine, the station will be busy, but it will be easy enough to get out and take a picture if necessary. The busiest time is after the match, but hopefully everyone should have already visited it before 5pm.

I would suggest Harrow parkrun, is that OK for those wishing to do one?

Or the 183 bus (every 8 minutes or so) stops outside, takes you straight to Kenton in 8 minutes...

After a lot of deliberation, I'm coming down again for this. Couldn't get a cheap train until a tad later so I won't be at the start until about 10:40. Might not make it to the pub after (esp as it's miles from my planned finish) but I'll be texting my times to GU and Rich and post a link on here to all the station pictures.

I'm up for this. Might even plan a route further in advance than on the train in to London this year. See you all (or at least some of you maybe) at Stonebridge Park on the 16th.
