Cannon Street Run XI - Talk Like a Pirate Day - Tuesday 20th Sept

Post by Going Underground »

Avast yee swabs!!!!

It be time for ye annual voyage around those choppy waters of the underground again and we be sailing a day late this time due to tricky tides and currents we can't weigh anchor on the 19th so will be sailing at 8 bells (18:30) from the port at Cannon Street on the 20th Sept
Hoisting of the mainsail can be delayed if need be due to a favourable waters and tide truning that evening.....

Ye must dock at all 64 ports in Zone 1
Ye can take any vessel in chosen direction after the tides have turned. So if ye wants to sail on Circle or District vessels in either direction ye can wait for chosen ship....

Grog afterwards at Ye Olde McD's, Warren Street, avast ye!!!!!!!

Arrrrrr Shiver me Timbers ye landlubberss......

Sailing
Capn Kev

Avast!! I be completing ye Zone 1 Challenge in 02:50:47, starting at the port of Cannon Street and docking at 61 other ports (the island of Lambeth North is closed so I be only passing through) before weighing anchor at Vauxhall.

Full details be coming later - but I be passing through a grand total of 14 ports twice so it be a rather landlubberly voyage of:

Cannon Street  Embankment  Euston  Moorgate  Farrrrr-ingdon  Aldgate East  Aldgate (swim) Monument  Treasure Chest (Bank to landlubbers) (swim) Queensway  Bayswater (swim) Gloucester Road  Earl's Port  Piccadilly Cutlass  Paddington (B/C/D) Paddington (C/H&C) (swim) King's Cross St Parrots  Leicester Square  Piccadilly Cutlass (because there be a 6 minute wait for a Northern Vessel at Leicester Square, arrr) Elephant and Castle  London Bridge  Westminster  Sloane Square  Victoria  Vauxhall

I hope to see some of you later, arrrr...
