This is a Central line train to "Woodford via Hainault"- sadly, not no more!

Although I'm happy that u put the dates up perhaps a revolving future date predictor might be the way forward end of round 6 round 1 and 2 are known etc.

Sept 10th hasn't given me much time to get off but I will try and swap that Saturday working. Knowing Kevin it be an awful champions choice so I might sit it out.

So Kevin, have you decided what the twist will be, there is less than three weeks to go. I need to post event details pretty soon!

The twist will be "ABC easy as 1,2,3"

LU stations only Z1-2 but you must visit in the order of the total words in the drawn stations (Including the starting station if this has more then one word....) So for example looking at the set of stations used in round 4 in last years championship...

"Highbury & Islington
--Great Portland Street
--St. Paul's
--Canada Water
--Queen's Park
--Holborn
--Bayswater
--Pimlico
--Swiss Cottage
--Paddington (Bak/Dist)
--Edgware Road (Circle)
--Westbourne Park
--Marble Arch
--Kennington
--Vauxhall (LU)"

You would have to visit first (in any order)
Holborn
Bayswater
Pimlico
Paddington
Kennington
Vauxhall

Then secondly (in any order)
St Paul's
Canada Water
Green Park
Swiss Cottage
Edgware Road
Westbourne Park
Marble Arch

Then thirdly (in any order)
Highbury & Islington
Great Portland Street

As an example if you have passed through Great Portland Street and Edgware Road on the way to and before you have visited Bayswater then they still need to be visited in 2 and 3 word station order.....

Also if the starting station is more than 1 word and you will re-visiting you can leave that station by any means, or catch a bus or leave on foot as you will have to re-visit later anyway....

I will let the BERC decide on time limit, 5 hours maybe?

So if Kings Cross St Pancras comes up, that would count as 4 and everyone would have to finish there?

Might be easier to just deliberately pick a single word starting station?

Yes exactly that Peter, it could be that we have a single finishing station

I will let Martin decide on the starting station option...

What about Kensington (Olympia) - one word or two? Ditto Bromley-by-Bow - one or three?

Olympia could be really quite painful, actually...

Ken Oly is 2 words, Bromley by Bow would count as 3.....

This could be pretty good fun actually! One thing I could see there being less of is out of station connections though.

I wonder - what are the chances of someone's finishing station not being one of the 11 stations with three or more letters? These being Bromley-by-Bow, Elephant & Castle, Great Portland Street, High Street Kensington, Highbury & Islington, Hyde Park Corner, Notting Hill Gate, Shepherd's Bush Market, St. John's Wood, Tottenham Court Road or King's Cross St Pancras. In addition to the chance none of these actually come out, there's the chance we might arrive at one by other modes (quite possible for GPS, SBM or H&I and not out of the question for HSK, HPC or SJW).

If King's Cross St Pancras turns out to be our starting station, we should just sort a darts pub near there because we will all know where we'll be finishing.

You missed St James's Park.

I make the chance of no 3 or 4 word stations being drawn to be about 7.5%.

On the closure front, looks like we're playing without quite a lot of stuff:

- No Circle Line
- No District Line east of Embankment (well, the closure's Embankment - Dagenham East, but the Dagenham East - Upminster bit won't help anyone at all unless they're travelling in)
- No H&C east of Liverpool Street (diverted to Aldgate instead)

In addition:
- Only one ticket hall is open at Liverpool Street, and it's the one underneath platforms 1-10
- Only one ticket hall is open at Charing Cross (and there will only be for quite a while), and it's the Bakerloo one under Trafalgar Square
- The escalators are out of action at Moorgate (for the month)

Lambeth North and the GOBLIN are, of course, closed...
