No Circle Line sounds more drastic than it really is as most of it is shared lines (will the part of the H&C that's still open be operating at an increased frequency - i.e. will what would previously have been Circle Line trains now run as de facto H&C?). So the only bits completely lost will be Aldgate-Embankment and the Gloucester Road curve.

The GOBLIN closure is also largely irrelevant as it is almost completely outside Z2.

14th of Jan is LCFC vs CFC. Whilst I'd love to try the random 15 one day, I've already paid for my Season Ticket!

The date of Round 4 will be 25th March 2017 (day after Comic Relief).

This is a Central line train to "Woodford via Hainault"- sadly, not no more!

Can we assume that Round 5 (Marked at 'Late April') will be on the 22nd or 29th?

Preference of the two for me would be 22nd. 29th is the early May Bank Holiday weekend and I'll be in Mid-Wales ticking off the last of my Great Little Trains Discount Card.

Could I also suggest that as there is a 'Secrets of the Underground' Open Day at Acton Town (LT Museum Reserve Collection) on 22nd April, Acton Town station might make a good starting point (albeit that as the 'Depot' only opens at 11am, it wouldn't give people much time to look round).

Acton Town is in Zone 3 - and if you arrive at the depot at 11am you probably won't even get in until 11:30am because the queue is extremely long!! Hammersmith might work, or alternatively since the ticket is valid for both Saturday and Sunday we could just start anywhere.

Good point about the queues. Getting in at 11:30 wouldn't give much more than half an hour to look round even if the start was at Acton Town (rather than Hammersmith), so probably not worth bothering with :-(

[Yes, I was aware that Acton Town is in Zone 3, but it's only one or two stops outside Z2, depending on which line you take, and this is a Twist round! We had two rounds last year which didn't even start at Underground stations, and I passed through Acton Town on one of them! ]

Funnily enough, I had already thought about the twist for this round a while ago and Richard is along the right tracks...as we will be extending out into zone 3.

I agree, not the BH weekend, so lets say 22nd April and be done with it!

Can I propose Osterley parkrun on the 22nd please? Its a friend's 250th parkrun and it's a chance to do their temporary two-lap course before it goes back to three laps.

Please excuse the stupid questions.

1. For the Zone 1, do you all meet at a pre-determined location/time and then randomly pick a station to actually start the challenge?
2. Roughly, what time would this begin so I can plan travel?

Thanks!
