Triple Crown

Post by RJSRdg »

Kev mentioned last night that I'd had an idea for a challenge which he liked the sound of (I'd explained it to him after the DLR Challenge on Tuesday). I didn't get chance to explain it last night as I had to get home, but here goes:

THE TRIPLE CROWN:

The Challenge is to complete the DLR, Bottle and Tramlink Challenges consecutively (in any order) in the shortest time. Times for individual legs would of course qualify for Explorer Ticket times but the fastest route for the Triple Crown may not necessarily be the quickest route for an individual leg. For example travelling from Beckenham Junction to Lewsiham would leave a Lewisham start for the DLR, which is not the quickest starting point for a DLR challenge.

Good idea, but do you (say) have to do all the stations on the DLR and then do the Bottle/Tramlink, or could you do some of it (Beckton - Lewisham?), then do the Trams, then the Bottle, then finish the DLR?

I was really thinking of the challenges as being done consecutively rather than in parts.

Kind of like a triathlon. I like this idea.
