Re: Favourite Alternative Challenge
Having only got a limited repertoire of completed challenges my vote is somewhat biased. I've been most successful on the Mouse whilst I've had most fun doing LO!
London Overground: 1 10:28:25 with Lewis Nagle and Aubery Morandarte
Mouse: 4 1:27:58
Alphabet: 1 5:14:20
R15: 2 1:55:48 with Rhys Jackson and Rhys Benjamin

Re: Favourite Alternative Challenge
Out of the listed challenges, I had the most fun on the Royal. I haven't tried the Overground since before the 2015 reset but it may supercede the Royal (the sheer variety of the Overground is great!!).
Favourite has to be the R15 though. Especially the twist rounds, the normal ones have actually been quite dull recently. Park Challenge wins an award for sheer insanity, but my second favourite challenge to date was tractakid's National Rail Zone 1.
In terms of suggested but never implemented challenges, I'm most interested in The Raven's Rainbow Challenge and the Thames Crossings Woolwich to Teddington Lock Challenge (with possible extension to include the Dartford Tunnels, the QEII Bridge, HS1 and the Tilbury - Gravesend Ferry).

All London buses: 23 hours 25 minutes (with Adham, David, Josh and Tangy)
Holds some alternative challenge records. Not sure which ones.
20½ Random 15 challenges: 01:58:48 best
That guy who runs those Twitter polls about tube stations and London Boroughs.

Re: Favourite Alternative Challenge
So far the only challenges I've done are the R15, the Bottle and the Z1Z2. Of those I'd say the Z1Z2 is my favourite - the Bottle (at least with a free choice of start) is a fairly boring one .
