I would say the same rails rules should apply, to be consistent with the GWR rules. So you could visit Uxbridge by Piccadilly instead of Met (although not sure it would help particularly).

But then there's the issue of Ealing Common and Acton Town as well.

Again, probably doesn't matter in practice, if you visit Ealing Broadway on a District, and Chiswick Park on a District, there is no reason to switch to a Piccadilly for one stop.

Especially since in order to visit EB on a District, you must by definition have travelled from, to or called at EC on a District.

Greetings all I have returned (after how long??)

I like the sound of this one and am certainly interested in giving it a go! :)

Does this set up the potential for a deep-level challenge at some point

I like the sound of it (especially since there's very little running involved - except the dreaded Rayner's Lane run!) but 30th April is definitely out for me and the May date likely is as well. I may have a go at it on my own sometime.

Having analysed things a bit more, I'm now inclined to agree with GKR. Piccadilly trains will be useful, but I don't see an obvious route that doesn't require a SS line train in at least one direction for each station...

... unless you're heading to finish at EB, you get to Acton Town and this happens to the train ahead of you.

Hi guys,

I can confirm that the date for the challenge will be saturday 7th May 2016 with the meet up point to be confirmed soon. you will need either an oyster card or z 1-9 travelcard. And to clarify, my rules i'm putting forward are that each station has to be visited by ANY TUBE TRAIN of ANY TUBE LINE e.g bakerloo line at baker street. the start time will be 12.00.

Many thanks, please re-post the below part to confirm your attendance, I hope to ee you there.

Maybe attending. Depends if I can persuade my parents to go to London then! With me, of course!

Not possible. Track closures!!

Specifically, no tube trains at Paddington (B/C/D), Bayswater, High Street Kensington and Kensington Olympia.

Just did some rough planning and came up with 7h 42m. Much longer than I expected. It's the age-old problem that trains in the NW don't want to hook up at all nicely.

More planning needed!
