RailRiders- Zone 1 event

Post by JBA »

Hi guys, I'd just like to invite you all to my tube challenge team's zone one event to mark the two year anniversary since the group started.

20th February 2016
12:30pm meet up time
Vauxhall station between vic platforms

Afterwards, I'm booking a table at the flaming grill pub in Wimbledon Park which is famous for it's man v food challenges as well as burgers, steaks etc.

Please let me know if you can come. We're gonna split into smaller teams, and once I know how many we have, I can sort out teams.if you have a route, then please ring it with you on paper as you could use that with your mini team in this record attempt.

Thanks

Is Mickey not going to the post parkrun breakfast then? :D

I have my own Zone 1 route (which you can probably pick from my attempts thread) which I plan to use. Tag along if you want, I would probably be going quite fast though.

Paddington is closing on the Bakerloo Line from April to August this year. Annoying, that's what it is.

Can't make the 20th either as I'm putting on a railway show in Reading that day.

However I may be out doing a challenge the following weekend.

I'm up for this, including parkrun and breakfast, but will have to head home early after the Zone 1.

The Zone 1 will be a solo effort because I'm usually meandering around slowly after a parkrun.

GU, I've run Barking but don't mind going again. Unless you want to pick somewhere we've not been.

I think Andi is coming as well and hasn't done Barking so if OK with you will stick with that?

I don't mind teaming up for Z1 if you like, I have a nice little route from Vauxhall...

And I am also heading straight back after Z1

OK, Barking parkrun it is.

Happy to team up for the Zone 1. Perhaps you can guide me to a Zone 1 PB.
