No, some of us need to get our annual holiday requests in this week!

Event 1: Tuesday 5th July 2016- All Lines Challenge
Event 2: Friday 8th July 2016- Bottle Challenge
Event 3: Wednesday 13th July 2016- Zone 1 Challenge
Event 5: Tuesday 19th July 2016- DLR Challenge
Can you confirm these ones will be evening events / starting times similar to previous TO's?

There has been a slight change to the schedule of events (see the revised list on the opening post).

Basically the Random 15 pencilled in for the 16th July has been moved to be a week later on the 23rd July (after the Full Network Challenge).

The reason for this is two fold, firstly it allows the usual Random 15 post challenge pub meet to act as a closing ceremony where the TOSA can give out the full results/standings and award medals to those who challengers who finished on the podium after the Full Network challenge (and, of course, a few rounds of darts/alcohol to shake down after the Tube Olympics). Secondly it allows those who are travelling from further afield who are competing in the the all day Full Network challenge to stay overnight in London and attend the Random 15/closing ceremony the next day.

Thanks

This is a Central line train to "Woodford via Hainault"- sadly, not no more!

Thanks for organising.

One question (and I know you'll be releasing full details nearer the time) - do the participants choose their own starting points (and, to a degree, times) - or will everyone have the same starting point,to be specified at a future date?

I only ask so as to know whether I can start route planning!

Going by previous events, the Bottle and Zone 1 usually have a fixed start, while the All Lines and DLR can be started from anywhere within the given time window.

Yes that seemed to work well previously with the All Lines being something like a 2 hour window with as many "re-tries" as you like, either aborted or completed attempts....

The TOSA here again...

As other have already said (and to keep the events in line with 2012), the Bottle and Zone 1 challenges will be a fixed start from a nominated station (the same format as used at the annual Zone 1 event).

The DLR challenge, the challenger can choose their own start station and start within a certain time window.

The All Lines Challenge, the challenger can again choose their own starting station and can have as many attempts/re-starts as you wish within a certain time window. Only submit your best time out of all these attempts (other completions can be kept and put on Explorer Ticket).

Full details of each individual event will appear in their own thread nearer the time.

Aiming to attempt as many as possible, assuming I can get time off from various other voluntary activities, and from work in the case of the FNC. Fitness permitting too,of course!

Oh, didn't realise it was only the years of the real olympics. Still, make it later in 2020!
