I know that they used to be 'Parks' but you don't actually have to do them.
I know I don't! I just happened to visit them during the challenge because that was how my route ended up.
I understand you had realised you didn't have to but you can't have a separate record for two reasons: they are no longer park stations and you took the same amount of time so it wouldn't be a new record.
It's for my own amusement, and possibly the amusement of others. Not for any semi-official purpose. I'll be at a definite disadvantage because they may already have been to Oakleigh Park when I start!

But for a Park Challenge, don't you have to photograph the outside of the building? If so, simply passing through wouldn't count.

You need to come overland an take a picture and also pass through it. (GWR visiting rules and a exterior picture).

Well, yes. I ran both Chiswick Park to Acton Town and Regent's Park to Great Portland Street during my challenge last year, so I can honestly say I covered 26 out of 24 last year.

When we used it yesterday, the signs said Central line will reopen "early December", so it should be done by the 19th.

The TfL site says TCR will be closed completely on the weekend of 5th/6th Dec, so I imagine this is when they will remove all the hoardings, ready for the Central platforms to reopen on Monday 7th.

Might not be able to do the challenge on the Saturday. Would anyone be willing to accept a time on the Friday?

Of course, though it would be nice to all do it together.

Yeah, that's fine. I thought that might be the case. I'll still be at the Parkrun on Saturday. Just need enough time to get back home on Saturday evening.
