Random 15 Championship 2015/16, new season.

Post by tangy »

Who is ready for the 2015/16 season of the Random 15 championship?

To get you prepared, here are the CONFIRMED dates for the first half of the season.

Round 1: 5th September (Champion's twist)
Round 2: 14th November (Normal but live draw)
Round 3: 10th January 2016 (twist)

I hope to see as many of you attending (both regulars and newcomers) at these challengers and I will continue to be your host.

This is a Central line train to "Woodford via Hainault"- sadly, not no more!

I want to complain about the dates being released early. This means people are more likely to attend which gives me less chance of winning. :(

Can't do September, but I've put November in the calendar (it doesn't go as far as January!)

Fairly certain about both of these.

Quick closure check gives 5th September with:

- Central Line: Holborn to North Acton
- District Line: Earl's Court to Wimbledon
- LO ELL: New Cross Gate to West Croydon/Crystal Palace
- Tramlink: Wimbledon to Dundonald Road
All London buses: 23 hours 25 minutes (with Adham, David, Josh and Tangy)
Holds some alternative challenge records. Not sure which ones.

Problem is, Tramlink cannot be divided up into the traditional zones- as it is it's own special flat fare zones (to be in line with bus pricing).

Well, there's no District Line between ECT and Wimbledon and the Brighton Main Line between London Bridge and Norwood Junction is down as well. Southeastern are doing some crazy stuff as well. I think that's everything.
