Random 15 Championship: Round 6

Post by tangy »

Welcome to the 2014/15 Random 15 Championship. I am your host (commonly known to regulars as the BERC when I am hosting Random 15 challenges). The Random 15 challenge is just that, visit 15 randomly selected stations that feature on the Tube Map (usually within zones 1-2 and using the Underground network only). There will be certain rounds within the championship that are a variation of this such as adding an extra zone or network e.g. DLR onto the challenge. So are you ready to take on the Random 15 championship?

If anyone is not familiar with the standard rules (or scoring) for Random 15 challenges, they can be read here: http://www.explorerticket.co.uk/tubecha ... 5rules.htm (for regulars this is the same rules you are already well versed with).

So let us announce the details for round 6.

When: 30th May 2105, 12:30 UK local time (though you knew that already).
Pre challenge meet up: Sloane Square (outside station building, street side of ticket barriers)
Post challenge meet up: The Bricklayers Arms, 31 Gresse Street W1T 1QS (off TCR, the road). Dartboard has been reserved from 16:00
Variant: This is a bog standard "normal" round, just 15 stations on the Underground network within Zones 1 and 2.
Time limit: 4 hours

Engineering works:
There are NO line closures on the London Underground this weekend.

DLR: Closed between Poplar and Island Gardens
Thameslink: Usual long term alterations for London Bridge works.

Covent Garden: Exit only, westbound trains non stop
TCR: Central line non stop

Attendance register:

This is a Central line train to "Woodford via Hainault"- sadly, not no more!

Tangy.

Not sure yet, as I don't plan that far ahead. At least the 30th May 2105 is a Saturday. I am usually free on Saturdays.

I'll be there. I'm staying in London from tomorrow afternoon until lunchtime on Sunday, so maybe it will be third time in the R15 that I beat Tangy :)
