The Raven's attempts - LO Record

Post by The Raven »

Will try to get the Zone One record route back tomorrow. Got the route, might do one attempt in the morning and one in the evening!

And I shall be on the track at Earl's Court, with an axe.

Joking.

I only beat the last one by ten seconds, though, so easily reclaimable. Good luck, and remember to do TCR properly!

Completed attempt one in 2h:48m:54s

Might have broken the record if it wasn't for a 5min wait at Sloane Square!

That puts you in 12th, a second faster than Steeevoo's Tube Olympics 2012 time.

Get in there!

Got the Zone One record with a time of 2h:39m:00s

Would like to thank Hugo for such a good time to beat!

Lots of sexy changes but also had a random 3min wait at Angel.

Right, time to try again I suppose...

Incidentally, you held the Tube Olympics record for 465 days, and I held mine for 457 days. Odd that the numbers are so close!

I swear I didn't do that on purpose!

Right next challenge, The Bottle, some time later this year...

The new extended Overground (except Battersea Park) is shown on the new Tube Map, which The Orange One was handing out like confetti on the R15.

This is a Central line train to "Woodford via Hainault"- sadly, not no more!

There had been much discussion about the new tube map, so I grabbed loads at what I thought at the time was the only place one could get them, due to the unique way in which I got hold of them. Of course, then I realised I had rather more than I needed, so I gave them to people who might want them.
