Random 15 Championship 2014/15: Round 2
Welcome to the 2014/15 Random 15 Championship. I am your host (commonly known to regulars as the BERC when I am hosting Random 15 challenges). The Random 15 challenge is just that, visit 15 randomly selected stations that feature on the Tube Map (usually within zones 1-2 and using the Underground network only). There will be certain rounds within the championship that are a variation of this such as adding an extra zone or network e.g. DLR onto the challenge. So are you ready to take on the Random 15 championship?
If anyone is not familiar with the standard rules (or scoring) for Random 15 challenges, they can be read here: http://www.explorerticket.co.uk/tubecha ... 5rules.htm (for regulars this is exactly the same as last year).
So let us announce the details for round 2.
When: 15th November 2014, 12:30 GMT
Pre challenge meet up: Embankment (meet by the Villiers Street entrance by 12:20)
Post challenge meet up: The Champion pub, Wells Street (near Oxford Circus/Goodge Street)
Variant: This is a plain vanilla normal round, just 15 stations on the LU network within Zones 1-2, but be sure to check out the engineering works scheduled for this date below...
Engineering work: The following sections of line are closed
Central Line: White City and Ealing Broadway/West Ruislip.
District Line: Aldgate East and Upminster.
Hammersmith and City Line: Moorgate and Barking.
ELL: Highbury & Islington and Shadwell, Surrey Quays and New Cross, Sydenham and Crystal Palace.
NLL/WLL: Clapham Junction and Kensington Olympia.
So who am I expecting?

This is a Central line train to "Woodford via Hainault"- sadly, not no more!

Re: Random 15 Championship 2014/15: Round 2
Following the news that Embankment deep level has now re-opened, seems like a good opportunity to exploit the fact and start there for this Random 15. Three different lines and six directions to depart in by train, which way will you decide?
Meet by the Villiers Street entrance by 12:20.

Morning all... I would just like to apologise for my outbursts and rudeness in the pub after the R15 yesterday.....
I am sorry if I offended anyone and it was not acceptable to kick off like that and I am sure it was just down to mental and physical tiredness and lack of sleep over the last couple of days......
Sorry to you all for my behaviour
