R15 2014/2015 R1 dates?
Dear Mr BERC,
Would it be possible to get a date planned in for the first round of R15 2014/15 sometime soon?
I don't have anything planned currently, but I have other things that I would like to finalise the plans for, but can currently move them round and would rather like to attend.
An earlier announcement of the date will also help significantly those who work at weekends or live outside London (yes, people really do live there) who would prefer to buy advance tickets.
Any chance of scheduling a date for it please?
Thanks!
A2

I THINK that people saying that they cant make this date and that date clouds the issue somewhat! I agree with a2 that at least the first date should be at least 5 weeks in advance that giving people plenty of time to organise day off.
I also think mr berc that putting off organising a date because of bus tours when they are published well in advance just choose a date in September? say I cant make that tour or put it up for a vote I couldn't attend three rounds last year because of poor planning.

Dates will be posted at least a month in advance. No polls either this year for this date or that date, it will be one fixed timetable.
If there are any dates you definitely CANNOT attend, then please PM them to me (one long standing challenger has already done this), this will make deciding a date easier.
Remember the rules stay the same as for last year, so if you attend 5 out of 6 rounds then you do not "drop" your worst score- as your worst score would be 0 (i.e. the round you missed)

Tangy just post the dates up then people can either attend or not. Saves all the arguments.

Round 6 will probably be on the 30th of May, because Zone 1 Day is usually on the Friday of half term (the 29th), and Round 6 follows immediately after.
All London buses: 23 hours 25 minutes (with Adham, David, Josh and Tangy)
Holds some alternative challenge records. Not sure which ones.

There will be Random 15 challenges in: September, November, January, February, April and late May.
Round 6 (late may) will be the Saturday immediately after zone 1 day (within the school half term week) of which I need to seek confirmation as to which week this is.

I can confirm the first round will NOT be on the 6th September- found a very good railtour to bash instead.
