As said to those who were present in Worthing on Saturday, the first round will be held on the 20th September 2014.

This is a Central line train to "Woodford via Hainault"- sadly, not no more!

The Orange One (probably) / Nothing, I expect, though Alperton to Ladbroke Grove on the Regents Canal is a possibility.

Greatkingrat, any ideas for a first round twist?

04/09/14, edited with the new twist in mind.

Well you might like to bear in mind the track closures:

District: Barking to Upminster (irrelevant)
Jubilee: Willesden Green to Stanmore (irrelevant)
Metropolitan: Everything south of Northwood (irrelevant)
Overground: The East London Line in its entirety, though there ARE same rails trains

So no Z1-2 LU closed stations, unless something gets banned.

Any update on the twist Pete? Or shall I choose?

My choice is the banned stations twist proposed by The Orange One.

It will be a normal Zone 1+2 LU only round, but with 10 banned stations announced in advance. These 10 stations can not be visited by LU train at any point during the challenge.

Thanks Pete, I can now create a round 1 specific thread with the exact details regarding this challenge. A fixed start would be beneficial for this challenge.

Hoping for some evil stations (Manor House with a Finsbury Park ban comes to mind as particularly cruel).

Second round, Tangy? Can we have some details, because it's getting kind of close - 15th of November, we know, but the where would be handy. Also, do we have a generator yet?

Track Closures:
Central Line: White City to Ealing Broadway/West Ruislip
District Line: Aldgate East to Upminster
Hammersmith and City Line: Moorgate to Barking
ELL: Highbury and Islington to Shadwell, Surrey Quays to New Cross, Sydenham to Crystal Palace
NLL/WLL: Clapham Junction to Kensington Olympia

Impossible Stations:
East Acton
North Acton
Whitechapel
Stepney Green
Bow Road
Bromley-by-Bow

Restricted Stations:
Bond Street (Central line only)
Gloucester Road (Circle/District lines only)

and also due to engineering works:
White City (Central line eastbound only)
Mile End (Central line only)
Moorgate (Circle and Metropolitan lines, both directions and Hammersmith and City line westbound only)
Liverpool Street (Central, Circle and Metropolitan lines only)
Aldgate East (District line westbound only - this is going to be aggravating if it comes up)
All London buses: 23 hours 25 minutes (with Adham, David, Josh and Tangy)
Holds some alternative challenge records. Not sure which ones.
