Which challenge are we doing? And do we have an attendence list?

Got to be honest- for me the SLAM wouldn't feel complete without visiting Battersea Park on a London Overground service...

There's still other options. I won't be around as a friend is coming down for the day, but here's what's been suggested so far:

- SLAM
- Alphabet
- Points of the Compass

In terms of untried challenges, I also suggested a Random 15 All Zones and All Modes, but that can't be arranged in time. Nor can Glen's Rainbow Challenge or a Zone One, All Modes (that's a normal Z1 + the National Rail stations + Tower Gateway).
All London buses: 23 hours 25 minutes (with Adham, David, Josh and Tangy)
Holds some alternative challenge records. Not sure which ones.
20½ Random 15 challenges: 01:58:48 best

It looks like it is only me and you who could make it, so it may be better to postpone to another time?

I'll be in London anyway due to parkrun, so I want to make the most of my ticket. If you don't want to challenge, that's fine, I'll go and do some exploring, or I might try a challenge of some kind anyway.

If you want, I can organise a Random 15 Banned Stations - I just can't participate. I have a simple handmade Random 15 Generator (it comprises of a scientific calculator and a numbered list of tube stations).

In fact, if you want to try a Random 15 Banned Stations, here are the randomly-selected banned stations:

Barons Court
Leicester Square
Clapham North
Willesden Junction
Stamford Brook
Westminster
Angel
Knightsbridge
King's Cross St Pancras
East Putney
Stockwell
Covent Garden
Finsbury Park
Hammersmith (Dis/Pic)
Russell Square

Note that Brixton, Highbury and Islington and Ravenscourt Park are therefore impossible.

Rules for a Banned Stations Random 15:
- All the normal rules for a Random 15
- You may not be on a LU, LO, DLR or NR train that calls at a banned station when it is calling at a banned station, you must alight at or before the stop before
- You may not set foot in the fare-paying area of a banned station
- You may take buses past a banned station and set foot in the ticket area, but the latter is not advised as it's kind of useless
- You MAY take a train that passes through a banned station without stopping, this can be LU, NR or freight if you want to risk it!
- If you accidentally visit a banned station, you must reverse along your route verbatim to the last legal visit in the challenge (e.g. if you go Piccadilly Circus  Holborn  Oxford Circus with the above banned stations, you must head back to Holborn and back through to Piccadilly Circus before you can continue)

Specific rules:
- Remember that Finsbury Park is two separate stations, LU and NR, so you can visit the NR station if you feel like it, same applies to KCSP (three stations) and Hammersmith (two LU stations)
- If you want, you can drop the rule about LO, DLR or NR trains calling at a banned station, but remember that you cannot leave the train, so if it terminates unexpectedly, all change please, you're screwed. However, you cannot visit Willesden Junction on LO services from Euston - if you are going to relax the rule, it would be ONLY Willesden Junction High Level services

Are you still going to Pymmes? If so I'll see you there and then we can decide what to do.

Could do the Potters Bar bus depot open day and have a ride on a bus part owned by Jamie brown!

This is a Central line train to "Woodford via Hainault"- sadly, not no more!

Well, Peter and I did the Alphabet yesterday and set a time of 4:51:59. He did the route and door positions, I just followed! So thank you. Worst luck was a 5 minute wait to reach our chosen 'I' station. No clues as to which one! ;)

Damn, I was hoping to be the record holder for this challenge (if for a short while at least) :(
Did the chosen 'I' station have a 'c' and 'k' in it?

We had pretty good luck on the whole, but I reckon a few more minutes could come off the record once Bond Street reopens.
