In case anyone sees this before we start today; "As I don't think I've met most of today's challengers before, I'll be the person wearing blue jeans, white t-shirt (with an A-Stock on the front), black coat and green baseball cap in the Circle and District lines' ticket hall ..."

Well, I suppose I'd better get this down.

Stations were:
Victoria
Canada Water
Holland Park
Clapham Common
Euston
London Bridge
Kilburn
Tottenham Court Road
Earl's Court
Warren Street
Liverpool Street
West Hampstead
East Acton
Covent Garden
Parsons Green
Leicester Square
Farringdon
Kentish Town
Embankment
Brixton

Three challengers, placed:
3rd: Tom Cooling with 02:36:?? (finished Kilburn)
2nd: Andrew Baker with 02:23:?? (finished Brixton)
1st: The Orange One with 02:18:51 (finished East Acton)
All London buses: 23 hours 25 minutes (with Adham, David, Josh and Tangy)
Holds some alternative challenge records. Not sure which ones.
20½ Random 15 challenges: 01:58:48 best

My route:

Victoria  Embankment  Charing Cross  Leicester Square  Holborn  Tottenham Court Road  Kentish Town  Camden Town  London Bridge  Bank  Liverpool Street  Finchley Road  Kilburn  Brondesbury  Shepherd's Bush  Holland Park  East Acton

I decided not to visit Clapham Common, Parsons Green, Earl's Court, Canada Water or Brixton.

I was accompanied by Tom Cooling as far as Euston (first pass through). Idiotically tried to use Thameslink at Kentish Town, and then heading back to the tube I just missed a Morden via Bank. Lovely Met ride, my LO train waited at Willesden Junction for five minutes and caught a Woodford via Hainault.

Had I been taking part I think I would have done

Victoria  Embankment  Charing Cross  Kennington  Stockwell  Brixton  Stockwell  London Bridge  Canada Water  Whitechapel  Euston Square  Warren Street  Leicester Square  Kings Cross  Kentish Town  West Hampstead  Kilburn

Missing out Parsons Green, Clapham Common, Earl's Court, East Acton and Holland Park.

My 2:36:35 route was:

Victoria  Embankment  Charing Cross Leicester Square  Holborn  Tottenham Court Road  Warren Street  King's Cross  Whitechapel  Canada Water  London Bridge  Stockwell  Brixton  Vauxhall  Clapham Junction  Shepherd's Bush  Holland Park  Notting Hill Gate  Paddington  Baker Street  Finchley Road  Kilburn

Despite not running, and being overtaken by the Orange One between Embankment and Charing Cross, we still managed to catch the same train. A combination of an LO train at West Brompton waiting an age to move without even opening its doors for some bizarre reason, and missing a train due to two pushchairs blocking the escalator at Notting Hill Gate set me back at least 10 minutes. This wasn't helped by no less than a 6 minute wait at London Bridge for a 4 minute service!! A glance at the countdown board on the southbound Northern line at London Bridge was very annoying:
1 Morden 6 mins
2 Morden 7 mins
3 Morden 9 mins

The best of the lot, travelling to the Bree Louise, the countdown at Finchley Road read, for southbound Metropolitan line services:
1 Baker Street 9 mins
2 Baker Street 12 mins
3 Aldgate 17 mins
:!: :!:

I chose to discard: Clapham Common, Earl's Court, East Acton, Kentish Town and Parsons Green

You may NOT visit a banned station by any mode of transport. If you do so, your result is invalidated. Remember, this includes both LU and LO! ...

I chose to relax the rule to just LU.

Had I done this, I would have gone:

Victoria > Embnakment > Charing X > Leicester Square > Holborn > TCR > Bank > London Bridge > Canada Water > Whitechapel > Euston Square > Warren Street > Kentish Town > West Hampstead > Kilburn > Finchley Road > Baker Street > Paddington (or Edgware Rd) > NHG > Holland Park
272 stations in 18:30:32

Quick update: the pub we went to at the end of this impromptu round, the Bree Louise, is closing at the end of the month. It's a shame, it was a nice pub.
