Upcoming Saturday R15's and Covent Garden

Post by Going Underground »

As The Raven pointed out during our full network yesterday, Westbound Picc's are not stopping for a few months at weekends...

So what is the BERC ruling if this comes out of the hat as a visiting station? Is a pass through OK or must you visit on an Eastbound service?

I think it would be interesting to have to visit it in the required direction!

Can't run there from another station either!

Central line services will not be stopping at Bond Street all together from Wed 23 April until Late June, and then Jubilee line services will not be stopping at Bond street from Early July until Wed 31 December

I assume this is due to Crossrail. That might be interesting with Zone One in the way.

Yes, if we have to visit Bond Street by the Jubilee that could produce some strange routes.

Frankly I suspect a Bond Street doubleback (from Baker Street).

I would rule that a pass through would be OK but the BERC's ruling will probably differ...

The Bond Street closure will be like the current closure of the deep level lines at Embankment (or the case a couple of years ago of TCR being closed to Northern line only). This means that Bond Street and Embankment need to be visited on the line/s that are still serving that station.

This is a Central line train to "Woodford via Hainault"- sadly, not no more!

Covent Garden station will still be open and trains will still stop there (albeit in one direction) so should this station come out in a Random 15 then Covent Garden should be visited in the normal manner i.e. train stops and opens its doors.

Only if a station is completely closed (for refurbishment or security alert etc.) should the pass through rule be applied.
