Here be my proposed sailing schedule;
Sail from Cannon Street 0540
Dock at Pimlico 2358

Estimated length of voyage 18hrs 8mins

Avast yee!!!!!!
Well shiver me timbers. I do be sailing wary of an FNC on account as I couldn't navigate me way back to me central London port.

Perhaps I shall recheck me compass.

(i.e. I want to test myself with a solo challenge, but I'd really like to be on the 0540 too, to at least join you at the start.)

We have aborted.... Final straw was fighting back and very confident of completing only to get to Woodford (Via Epping) and there are no loop trains all day from Woodford, only to Woodford via Hainault...

Nothing on engineering works or live updates on this :?

So we had to piss around going via Snaresbrook again, 13 min wait at Leytonstone for Woodford via Hainault, back via Snarebrook again!! The a lousy 15 min wait for LO at Leytonstone High Road... :x

Now over an hour down went phone searching (and around £50.00) but no joy

Sorry to heart that Kev, but enjoy Burgess, it's one of my favourite parkruns. It's where my fastest and slowest times are!

Well, the extremely random stuff I did:

Cannon Street  West Kensington  Kensington Olympia  Earl's Court  HSK (by bus) Edgware Road  Hammersmith  Turnham Green  Chiswick Park (by foot) Ealing Broadway  Acton Main Line   Acton Central    Richmond  Wimbledon   West Brompton  Willesden Junction :x  Piccadilly Circus  King's Cross St Pancras  Bank  Monument  Great Portland Street.

That's 76. I then went home. Later on I did:

Warren Street  Seven Sisters

Getting me 81, followed by:

Tottenham Town Hall  Turnpike Lane  King's Cross St Pancras  Great Portland Street

Netting me 86/270.

As you can tell, I wasn't taking it that seriously after about Hammersmith...

I had a pretty good day all in all. I think I did 212 stations total.

I planned forward to a bail-out station near my hotel, and backwards from the last train that went to my intended finish station; these two bits were 40 minutes adrift!

I went to most of the west half of the map first including Chesham and Heathrow, and everything was bang on plan. Then I had a lovely Loop and an epic Epping and somehow had found 30 minutes of the 40 on reaching the Overground link towards Walthamstow Central, and at this point I thought I might just make it.

Then I got to Finchley Central and just missed the Mill Hill East train. 11 minutes to the next one :(. Went up to HIgh Barnet where I just missed the 307 :( :( and I (sort of) quit at that point.

I went back to my hotel, but it was so dismal there that I went out for part 2! Did all the fiddly stuff around and just north of Stockwell, then down to Morden, across to Wimbledon and back up to Zone 1 for a few more stations, finishing at Barbican at about 10:45.
