Sorry to see Matt go and a shame the decision was made before the end of the championship season with round 6 only a few weeks away....

I for one don't feel that he has done a splendid job having entertained us with the video draws and some excellent "twist" rounds and ideas...

Thanks for organising a superb season and hope to see you at some of the rounds in 2013/14 work and footie permitting :D

First hand? Did Matt tell you personally before everyone else? :P

Also, when did he say he was free for R6, as far as I can see, he's working...

I think Matt said he was free to meet in the evening but not the actual challenge itself........which hopefully he can make

I think a "non-competing" BERC is the perfect scenario

In effect someone neutral to confirm results/points/standings and also overcomes the most difficult issue of drawing the stations and sealing in envelopes without sighting them in advance...

When Soup Dragon was doing the BERC duties in his his first term and competing on a regular basis he either had to get our mum (when she was alive), or his work colleagues to print out the stations and seal them in enevlopes, trying not to see what had been generated.....

Which is what Matt was doing, yet he still got constantly asked "Why isn't the BERC attending?" etc etc! Can't win!
