Christmas Park Challenge 2012 - Wimbledon Park 31st December

Post by Going Underground »

Wimbledon Park - 1100hrs start it is then

Just a quick re-cap then you have to visit all the "Park stations" by tube train (Or shared rails) and take an external photo as well

The watch starts when you take your 1st photo outside Wimbledon Park and stops when you take your final photo at your finishing Park Station

The link to the map that we used to use on Soup Dragons website no longer works and it is all the stations ending in Park and Hyde Park Corner & Park Royal

Probable meet up after H & G @ GPS unless they have an all ticket New Years bash on....

If anything is not clear please shout!

After randomly catching the Tube Challenge attempt on Absolute Radio thought I'd check in and see what was going on over here.

Looks like I've just missed an R15 but always enjoyed past Xmas Park Challenges. Would NYE work, looks like no engineering works then but would have to head off from the pub relatively early.

Hi Steven and welcome back :D

Stangely enough I have just looked at New Years on JP as I am doing nothing that day/evening and have time off work...

I am up for that and if anyone else is as well then please add name to list and see if we get enough to warrant it :)

For the current time to beat, and for the stations to be visited, see here:

www.explorerticket.co.uk/tubechallenge (scroll down to the Park challenge tab)
Adjudicator of the Alternative Challenges and webmaster of the Tube Challenge "Top Times" website at www.explorerticket.co.uk/tubechallenge

This is a Central line train to "Woodford via Hainault"- sadly, not no more!

Tangy.

Do we have to catch the first train after 11:00 or can we leave later?

I think in the past you could choose when to start your watch. So you could start 10 seconds after someone else but you run the risk of not having enough time to take the photo and get down to the platform before the train leaves.
