It has to be somewhere central as we could be finishing all over the shop :!:

Am I understanding this right - we're not meeting up beforehand, just travelling to our start stations individually?

Not a good start to the day. Central line in chaos, and I just saw a body under a train at Waterloo southbound Bakerloo :(

Oh dear that doesn't sound good..... :( Also I imagine my timings will be out now as using Central Line early in the play

Yes- briefly from a fair distance. still sad though :(

Good fun in terms of tube challenging today. Report to follow.

In the mean time:

5. scrxisi (Start at Crystal Palace. Abort at Sydenham) :)
4. Iain (Start at Manor House, abort at New Cross Gate 15/16 with a projected time of 6+ hours)
3. The Raven (Start at Manor House, finish at South Ruislip) 5:17:19
2. tractakid (Start at Ruislip Manor, finish at Crystal Palace) 4:54:44
1. Going Underground and nozzacook (Start at Ruislip Manor, finish at Crystal Palace) 4:39:55 WORLD RECORD.

Congrats Kev and Noz. Turns out the team with the slowest theoretical time came out on top... haha!

Aw :/ Hope you're okay. You're one of a very few number of people to actually see a body/suicide (either happen or afterwards) on the tube. One of the tube documentaries I watched said that fortunately, almost all the passengers (like 99.5%) never see anything like that.

Well done to the winners :P

Well, despite it being a fairly regular occurrence (once a week on average I think), its once a week on one platform of 270 stations.

I find it amusing that the fastest time is referred to as a "world record".

Had I been taking part, I would have started at Ruislip Gardens rather than Ruislip Manor, although there probably isn't much in it.

Only if you did it between 1200-1230.
