Re: Tube Olympics - Event 5 - DLR Challenge - Tuesday 24th J
I'll (probably) come, but I want to squeeze every last bit of value out of my £20 MKC to 1-6 ticket as possible. I'll likely get to Euston about 11am, does anyone want to meet up, chit chat, do a bit of scouting or perhaps an alternative challenge or 2 during the day? I'll do it on my own, but i'd much rather be able to talk to someone while doing it.

I am attending, well hopefully will be a better turnout than last Olympics!

This is a Central line train to "Woodford via Hainault"- sadly, not no more!

Re: Tube Olympics - Event 5 - DLR Challenge - Tuesday 24th J
I had hoped to attend this one, but unfortunately some domestic issues have intervened and I now won't be able to make it.
I had already started route planning though. It would appear on Tuesday that the DLR will already be running a revised Olympic schedule. This means I couldn't find a route that on paper would beat my son's and my DLR record. Just hoping that no one else can either.
By chance I was drinking in the Captain Kidd on Wednesday. I thought that the draught OBB was not in quite tip top condition, so had to move on to the wheat beer instead (which can be a bit dangerous if you have too much of it).

I noticed that, however the frequencies listed on the DLR site don't appear to match what is in the Journey Planner.

Won't Pudding Mill Lane be closed? Therefore a completion is impossible?

Matt is correct, pass through is allowed and therefore it will be no problems.
Whatever happens we will have a new OR because the network is different from the 2008 event.
