DLR Challenge

Post by Neilandrewhall »

Hi All, Me and Ivo from the Rail Forums are going out on Tuesday to do a DLR challenge (Since the new Line to Stratford International Opens on The Tuesday), We've just planned a route and we've got 1 hr 54, for it :) Starting at Bank finishing at Tower Gateway :)

Hope we do well :) Wish us luck :P

As the existing record is 2:00, I very much doubt it is possible to do 1:54 with Stratford International.

Hi all :)

I just thought I'd introduce myself, and here seemed an obvious place to do it. I'm Ivo, Neil's team mate for this, and I have met several of this forum before now, including among others Andi.

Neil's 1:54 was a mistake; it did not include several factors and was calculated wrongly. As things stand we are confident that our time is strong, but it is of course longer than 2 hours.

Anyway, hello!

Maybe it'll open later.

Also seems some people are deluded enough to think that Guinness are actually interested in this challenge!!
