Friends, Romans, Challengers ...

Ok, as it's getting a little busy in terms of number of people turning up, we're NOT going to meet on the ticket concourse area of Oxford Circus, but out in the open instead.

Instead, come out of exits number 5,6,7,8 of Oxford Circus and you'll find the original station building (now partially tuned into an Angus Steak House and Bureau de Change) - but also partially holds exits from the staion.

<img src="http://www.geofftech.co.uk/tubechalleng ... e1/map.jpg" align=right hspace=4 vspace=4>This is Argyll Street, and it's out in the open where there's lots of space to gather, and that's where we'll meet, okay? We can send someone down to the ticket concourse area just in case people do still loiter there.

This is being done as it looks like 40 to 50 people may now be turning out for this, which is quite a lot - and we don't want to cause an obstruction in the ticketing area.

Magnificent. Looks like you're going to have quite a crowd to organise, Geoff... and a quantity of result claims to verify!!!

I'm thinking of having someone bring down a ghetto blaster for my CD, which I thought would be great if the BBC turn up, and we can all have a singalong!

Edit: I've also come up with my team name...

I'm not sure if I need a team name for a team consisting of just me. Nor can I think of a good one... "The Beardy Git"? :)

How absurd do you want the team names to be?

I can probably score quite highly in the department of ridicule..

'Joytech54'. That's a little close to 'Geofftech' !! :-)

All people need a team name - even if you're just doing it solo, yes! It can be anything, witty, funny, surreal, or puntasic such as "The Theydon Boys" whicih is very good.

There's a prize for what I think is the best name...

How many iTunes vouchers would it take to persuade you that my team's name is best?

Believe me, I'm dabbling waaaaay into the depths of pure oddness..

I plan to win both best team name AND fastest man in Zone 1.

Though the latter may not go down well, with my fellow team member(s), since it will involve me abandoning him/them at a station while I dally forth..
