Totally outrunning Andi on this transfer "nutty fudgekins"if i was alone i left you in my dust.

The winning route is a time of 03:49:00 was as follows:

Run to West India Quay (attempted to get on one of the Bank- Lewisham trains before the ex Stratford train pulled in, but failed)!

I thought you had to arrive or depart from each station by train??

My route was

Jub to Canary Wharf

DLR to Greenwich
NR to London Bridge
run to Tower Hill (just missed a train - 10min wait)
Dist to Monument
Nor to King's Cross
Picc to Arsenal (not stopping at Holloway Road)
Picc to Piccadilly Circus
Bak to Elephant & Castle
Nor to South Wimbledon
bus to Wimbledon
Dist to Earls Court
Picc to Hyde Park Corner
bus to Marble Arch
Cent to Lancaster Gate
run to Paddington
Dist to Edgware Road
run to Edgware Road (Bak)
Bak to Baker Street
Jub to West Hampstead

Ooops....

This never occured to me... until now!!! However at West india Quay, as I said in my route I failed to get an earlier Lewisham train thus the next one in at WIQ was the ex Stratford before boarding a Lewisham bound train after that. There was no gain in time but did fail to leave Poplar by train. I'll await the judges decision on the outcome.

When Tangy announced his route in the pub I twigged immediately but didn't want to say anything at the time......
But yes quite cleary under the R15 rules you must depart/arrive all stations by train and obviously this should have been a DLR departure from Poplar... Over to The BERC and I imagine that the placings must be altered with the other teams all moving up a place..

Just catching up on the forum tonight after a couple of busy weeks.
First things first, sorry to hear about your accident Sara, hope you are recovering okay.
Now for the "Official" results.... which replace those announced in the pub...!

1. 3:53:16 Peter Smyth (finished at West Hampsted)
2. 3:58:42 Andi, Sara & James Laughlin (Tower Hill)
3. 4:00:34 Al Brown (Holloway Road)
4. 4:12:00 Antony & Kevin (Holloway Road)
5. DQ - Tangy (14 stations in 3:49:00)

Rules of R15 are clear that you have to depart from the first station by train, the only exception was made for the special round starting from Aldwych last year.

Just a quiet plug, darts website now features all matches played that day, Andi is still winning but with Kevin significantly closer. I can't believe I am 8 points off the pace already :O
