I think that it's rather off that when the District line is down, the Piccadilly line does not make courtesy stops at Turnham Green.

I'd completely missed all this, including the poll
2nd (3rd?) R15 in a row I can't make

Yes this seems to be correct (so Bethnal Green and Willesden Green can be removed from my above list - they are both now open). I think it's time to do the draw for the starting station and decide the time, as it is getting very close to the date.greatkingrat wrote:Slight change to the list posted by Joe, the Central line closure appears to have been cancelled, so Bethnal Green is now open, plus Met line trains are now showing in the Journey Planner as stopping at Willesden Green.

Hmm, the nearest station to the Rising Sun is Barbican, which is closed. This might make the Rising Sun a bad choice, as I don't think there are other stations nearby that could be used as an alternative.Soup Dragon wrote:BERC Update..... by popular demand we will meet afterwards at The Rising Sun

Yes, St Pauls is the best option. St Pauls - Rising Sun is not any further than Oxford Circus - Horse & Groom is.

Re: Random 15 Championship 2010/11 - Round Two - 13th Novemb
Does anyone know if there is more than one entrance for Marble Arch station? If so, we may need to decide on a specific place to meet. A quick look at Streetview shows an entrance which is a set of steps leading down from the pavement - usually stations that have these kind of entrances have several of them which also double as subways under the road (and we could easily end up waiting at different entrances).
And maybe we should start an attendance list. I will be attending.

This should be an absolute breeze there are probably only about 15 stations open at the weekend looking at the closures

I'm going to make a very last minute decision on this one, I'm not feeling greatly well ATM (curse everyone at college! ) and don't fancy going round if I'm going to make it any worse.
