5 days to go and the 4th September has a healthy lead.

Sept 4th & Sept 11th are tied with 9 votes a piece, so we will have to have a re-vote..
I will add back in the NOT votes so in the case of another tie the NOT votes will be taken into account. If the scores are still tied the date will be decided by the toss of a coin.

Sorry to SPAM up the forum but I will have to do this in another post. I just tried amending the poll and it gets very confusing so it's best to run another seperate poll.

You see this is a prime example of why the "No" vote box should be used as well.. Chances are that then we would not have need a re-poll..

I don't see how having not-options in this poll would have made any difference.

Why? Well, I'm not sure if it's possible to see how many individual people voted in this poll, as it only appears to show the number of votes cast. But imagine there were 11 people voting in this poll. 9 of them voted for the 4th of September, so it is possible to deduce that 2 do not want that date. So the 4th would have got two "not"-votes, assuming everyone voted logically.

Now instead of 11, call the number n. Whatever n is, the number of people not wanting the 4th of September (n-9) will be the same as the number of people not wanting the 11th of September (n-9 again). Therefore the two dates are equally as unwanted.

Not sure on that, look at the "final" poll which has been re-introdced with the yes/no option

Like I said, it depends on people voting logically. It also depends on the same set of people voting in both polls, and nobody changing their mind. A new poll always gives different results, but I'm saying that "not"-options on this one wouldn't have changed the outcome.
