Anyone want a t-shirt for tomorrow?
The TfL T-shirt shop is quite fun to play with, even if you don't intend on buying - http://www.ltmuseumshop.co.uk/ltm/railo ... &by=1223.3

That was fun wasn't it
A most enjoyable evening, some close times with the winning route being quite interesting and different from the others. I made my usual school boy error of doubling back at Kennington to get to Waterloo and thinking in me head, Charing X branch, Charing X branch...
I get a train straight away but we are held at a red signal four 4 mins and as we pull away I realise in need a Bank branch as I need to go through Lambeth North still to get to Waterloo
Anway a quick double back at Waterloo solved this and after giving it the "beans" to the Jub line I saw Dr Who and Soup Dragon on a very crowded platform and 2 mins on the board... They had been there for about 3 mins...So we finished at Southwark in identical times from different routes...
The pub afterwards was very good and once the "office bods" had gone home we pretty much had the place to ourselves. The Rising Sun definitely goes on the list...

I made a similar school boy error at Bank, getting on a NB Northern instead of a SB. Ended up at Moorgate with an 8 minute wait for the next SB and was pretty pissed off so just headed straight for the pub.Going Underground wrote:That was fun wasn't it

Surely the Rising Sun isn't as good as the pub in Barbican?

That isn't the pub we went to John, although it looks quite similar. As per Kevin the pub was the Rising Sun in Cloth FairStarkey7 wrote:Er, oh. No. I meant the one in Cloth Fair or whatever the road is called. The Hand and Shears:
