That link says that Monument is NOT included, although it is on the map just to be confusing.Edgemaster wrote:So Monument included, and a Cannon St start...

Re: Cannon Street Run IV - Mouse Challenge - POLL...!!!!!
i cant read
It does mean I can put away the Bank/Monument station map
I do wonder how many routes people will choose for this one though. I suspect most of the differences will be south of the river.

I'd've thought that Monument need not be on the map at all. I'd've thought that it'd be quicker to run from Cannon Street to Bank than from Monument.

When I made the map I forgot to take Monument off and then I couldn't be arsed to change it...
Sorry if this has created a bit of confusion but Monument is cleary outside the Mouse.

Myself and Starkey had a crack at the Mouse yesterday. It was so hot and humid that I was sweating like a pig after the first couple of runs. We had some fairly sexy connections early on, but the last two or three were just a bit too slow and put us outside the record. Still it wasn't a bad effort and we managed 1:34:46 which is good enough for 3rd place in the current Mouse table. Looking forward to having another crack on Tuesday or Thursday.

I should have woken up earlier and joined you, its looking unlikely that I can make the current winning date, Thursday.Soup Dragon wrote:Myself and Starkey had a crack at the Mouse yesterday. Soupie, why have you used the accusative case when you are the subject of the sentence? I shall teach you more about this on Tuesday.Soup Dragon wrote:Myself and Starkey had...
Anyway, SD and I were a formidable team on Saturday. For some crazy reason I had decided to wear trousers for the event, and regretted it even before we started. We took each change pretty fast, and soon I was rather uncomfortable. But anyway, most of the changes were pretty ordinary, but we still set a nice little time. We had a bit of a silly moment at Kennington, but somehow managed to claw back the time - and possibly more time if my calculations are correct.
And the pub afterwards had everything that you could want apart from chocolate.
