Interesting idea, especially with the stopping patterns in different directions and the Doubletree aspect. It feels a bit like Tramlink: a quite simple underlying network complicated by a few subtleties. I haven't checked operating hours for the various routes/piers, but from memory some of them were a bit odd which would be another complicating factor.
First to 100000 in the 2015+ Tumbleweed contest. Winner of a few rounds of a diverse range of quizzes/games. Some decent times in alternative challenges as a fiftysomething who merely walks briskly. Briefly led All The Actons.

I think I'm the only person to have used a Thames Clipper on an R15....

Looking at the Thames Clipper website:

RB6 (needed for Putney to Battersea Power Station) only runs weekday mornings and evenings.
RB2 only goes east of Greenwich at weekends.
RB1 only goes east of North Greenwich on weekday mornings, evenings, or weekends.

As a starter, I reckon I've found a 2:24 route.
272 stations in 18:30:32

How about visiting all the stations in Zones 1 and 2, without leaving the network, but avoiding Bank. As in you must not go to Bank (or Monument), must not pass through, and certainly must not interchange there.

I think this about a lot of suggestions, but especially so about this one.... why?! And also, you're not visiting all the Z1 & Z2 stations if you don't go to Bank or Monument

A (slightly) better idea - a Zone 1, with the start station and, say, 5 banned stations drawn half an hour before the start.
Full Network (270 stations) - 18:22:43
Parks - 7:57:23
Alphabet - 5:30:40
Roads, Streets and Lanes - 3:51:51
Zone 1 - 3:03:50 (Former record)
Bottle - 1:57:43

Night Tube Challenge.

Do I really have to explain this one? All the stations served by the Night Tube.

I'd like this to be attempted only when the Night Tube is in operation, except that gives less than 5 hours to cover 144 stations on an infrequent service, so it would be impossible. Maybe have a midnight start and the challenge goes on for as long as needed?

When Night Tube was operational I did consider this and like you say its impossible just for operational hours but if you defined night as 22:00 - 06:00 I think that's much more reasonable (on the basis that a lot of services start thinning out after 22:00). The other problem is that Night Tube is unlikely to return anytime soon thanks to funding and maintenance issues (with both track and rolling stock). If it does, I doubt it will be to the same scale as previously.

The Mayor said today it would be back in operation within weeks.

OK so I need to eat my words a little bit regarding the return of Night Tube as the Victoria and Central line are returning (although I was right about the same scale). Be interesting to see how long this lasts as it still doesn't solve the problems of funding (Night Tube is expensive to run) and maintenance (less time for maintenance means more chance of failures and noisier journeys due to flange squeal).
