Zone One - Facts and Figures

With the 10th running of the Zone One challenge I thought I'd find some interesting facts:
- "Winner's Curse"
No one who has won the challenge, has defended their title. In fact, no one has ever got onto the podium the year after winning.
- Peter Smythe
The ONLY person to have competed in every single Zone One Day
- "I am the one and only"
Ewan Spence ('04), Tom Reynolds ('04), Erin Faulkner ('05) Sam Cawley ('10) and Iain MacNaughton ('12) are the only people people to have been on the podium every time they have competed.
