That 2006 result could have been completely different had the Victoria line not been closed right at the end of our run.

Does anyone else remember that happening?

Yes only had to get to Pimlico arriving on NR at Vauxhall and LU was closed :(

Yeah, we only had to leave whichever station was closed and go one stop in either direction to win.

I remember that. But I got there so late that by that time it had opened again! I think that I finished in about 3:18".

Dr Who and I still hold the record of 2:42'22", I believe.

Not a clue for names this year, it was divine inspiration at the last minute last year!
