Might be a good idea if you made another post to the game thread though!

One might think...

Do they read it though, or is there a double agent going by the name of GuyBarry?

I haven't taken part in the QI forum since March 28th (as you can check without being a member).

Honestly, TG, how do you work these things out? QI are on 2937, so they've got 63 to go, not 43.

Still rather a lot to catch up though!

Bad memory.

Why don't you make a post to the Counting thread and help to close the gap then? The last valid one you made was 2617.

Weekly progress report

I'm pleased to say we're on target to hit 3000 well before Christmas. However, on current form QI will get there before us.

In the last seven days, QI have advanced from 2929 to 2943 - an average of 2 posts a day. At this rate they will reach 3000 around 28th October. We have advanced from 2600 to 2651 - an average of 7.29 posts a day. At this rate we will reach 3000 around 16th November, and won't overtake QI until 24th November (at about 3053).

If QI continue at their current rate we'll need to average 12.25 posts a day to overtake them before 3000. We'll have to hope they slow down again!

I would point out that they posted nothing at all yesterday, so maybe there's hope...

BBC iPlayer?
Since 1st September you've needed a TV licence to watch BBC iPlayer, but not other catch-up services (ITV Hub, 4 on Demand etc.).

I looked at Apterous once, but was put off by the fact that you had to pay after the first few games.

The game you linked to appears to be a copy of an actual Countdown game (episode 3642). I thought Apterous was a site where you played online?

It isn't. Kirk Bevins was online, acting as the opponent.

Oh I see - that's why he did so much better in the Apterous game than in the Countdown version!
