475 has a square that is made up of the squares of other numbers: 475 squared = 225625, 15 squared = 225, and 25 squared = 625. (Also 256 occurs inside it, which is 16 squared.)

The original Rolling Stone Top 500 Songs of All Time (http://tinyurl.com/pudgfzj), lists "I Want To Know What Love Is" by Foreigner at number 476.

Funnily enough the Rolling Stone number one song of all time is "Like A Rolling Stone" by Bob Dylan. Number two is "Satisfaction", by The er, Rolling Stones.

Here's a bus route with a difference! The 477 route runs from Berwick-upon-Tweed to Holy Island in Northumberland - but the causeway across to the island is only open at low tide, so the bus times vary depending on the tide times for that day. Imagine having to plan a Tube Challenge under such constraints...

The Raven is the legitimate poster of 480, so anyone else can post 481.

All right, me again then - I was just trying to give RobbieM a chance.

481 is the 13th octagonal number, i.e. 481 dots can be arranged in an octagon with 13 dots per side.

482 - the last three digits of Hull's STD code. (I'm hoping to visit Hull on my way back from Scotland mid-August)

Incidentally, speaking of Hull and telephone codes, I seem to remember that Hull was unique, as it had its own telephone system (Kingston Communications) whilst the rest of the country was under the nationalised British Telecom.

British Rail Class 483 is another name for the 1938 Tube Stock trains, which last ran the Tube on the Northern line in 1988. They now run on the Isle of Wight.
