Re: Counting
Well, I always thought World War II ended in 1945, but apparently it didn't officially end until 1946 (at least in the USA). Proclamation 2714 was signed by President Harry S. Truman on December 31, 1946, to officially declare the cessation of all hostilities. The state of war was not lifted off Japan and Germany until then in order to give a reason for the necessity of occupation troops in these countries.

I always thought that using a letter x was good enough as a multiplication sign, or an asterisk if typing in a computer calculator on a keyboard, not a Multiplication sign, Unicode 2715!

In this video, Terry from Consumer Cellular walks you through an overview of the Nokia 2720 cell phone.
(I'm fascinated by how he pronounces "Nokia" - "no-KEY-a", as though there are no keys on the phone!)

If you want to buy the number plate HU 2726, it'll cost you £1400. Why? Does the number have some special significance that I've missed?
