Why? When someone makes an invalid claim, the clock doesn't reset.

I thought an invalid claim was a genuine miscalculation, clearly tubeguru was using a spoiler and not a genuine claim...

Tubeguru said that if a claim was valid except for the fact that it was played early, then that was an invalid claim - e.g. 2000 bells played after 3 hours is an invalid claim.

If the claim would not be a valid claim anyway, then it is a spoiler. e.g. 2.5 bells.
