Have you used Chiltern Railways to bypass Metropolitan line stations at any time on this journey ?

15) Are you at Acton Town?
16) Are you at South Ealing?

(If he's strictly obeyed the rules the only place I can see him is down the Heathrow branch - either on his way into town or on his way to the airport. If he's coming into town, he'll be at one of these two stations - so if he's not at either, he's soon to reach a dead end...)

I can't for the life of me see where you might be! Ignoring the first four questions, here is my analysis on where you are at Questions 7/8, because for that location we have a lot of information!

At Q7/8:
- you have to be on the Metropolitan or Piccadilly Line
- you cannot be west of Sudbury Hill, Hounslow Central or Northwick Park as this would put you in Zones 5, 6 or 7*

Also, because of Q6:
- you can't be further towards Cockfosters than King's Cross St Pancras on the Piccadilly Line
- you can't be further towards Aldgate than King's Cross St Pancras on the Metropolitan Line

And because of Q9/10:
- you can't be at any Zone 1 station, because you're not in Zones 1-3 one move later
- you can't be at any Zone 2 station apart from Finchley Road (heading to Wembley Park), because you're not in Zones 1-3 one move later
- you can't be within 3 stops of Sudbury Hill (which removes all possibilities between Park Royal and West Harrow/Eastcote)

Therefore, out of the Zone 3 stations, you can only be at Northfields (since Park Royal is impossible)

And because of Q11:
- you can't be within 2 stops of Preston Road (which removes all possibilities between HotH and Kingsbury/Neasden/Finchley Road via Met)

Therefore, you cannot be on the Met Line at this point.

*Logically, also, you can't be at Chalfont and Latimer, Chesham or Amersham at this stage, because to be at those stations after three moves you'd have to be heading out of London, and 5 moves later you still haven't come to a halt...

which all means:

At Q7/8, you had to be on the Piccadilly Line, specifically at:
- Northfields, heading towards Heathrow
- Boston Manor, heading towards Heathrow
- Osterley
- Hounslow East
- Hounslow Central

All of these options have been covered!! Which means, where could you possibly be?

My Kilburn question was just in case being within 4 stops of Preston Road, but on the Jubilee Line did not count as 2 stops from Preston Road - in which case an extra two possibilities had opened up, which put you at either Kilburn or terminating at Stanmore. But you weren't at Kilburn, and you moved after the question had been asked - which means you couldn't have been at Stanmore either!

If DavidC and A Challenge are all right with this. It's possible one of them has some other ideas (DavidC in particular!).

Actually, I'll withdraw from this game - PM me with your route so far...
