Do I have to? I realized it was impossible just after posting the question. I'll forfeit that one if you answer my other question.

Is it north of St Pancras International?

Is the name of your station comprised of more than one word?

Does the name include a compass direction (north, south, east or west) as part of the name ?

Well after question 13 I got it down to three stations... and none of them includes a compass direction! I'm a bit baffled now, but I'll wait for the answer.

Interesting. I currently have seven candidates, but that may be due to my ignorance of operator subtleties. Indeed, we've been a bit lax in our use of operator/operated as Thameslink isn't an operator anyway, it is just one of the routes/brands operated by Govia Thameslink Railway.

That's true enough. I may well have missed something.

I have three candidates as well. I'm interested to know what these other four candidates are (I'm going by Greater London as a county, by the three West Hampsteads as separate stations and by the Sutton Loop having peak time Southern services).

Ditto. (Is West Hampstead relevant? It's north of St Pancras, surely.)

I almost forgot that clue! The two questions were asked almost simultaneously to cut my original list down to a quarter of the size, and when my new list was put into question I went straight back to the original list without thinking (the list had West Hampstead Thameslink on it).

In that case I'm down to zero ! I thought it was solidly on the Sutton loop. I'm working on the basis it is Thameslink, south of St Pancras, not on the Sevenoaks branch because of Southeastern, not on the Brighton branch because of limited stops inside Greater London and not City Thameslink, everything as far as Streatham is ruled out by other operators and the big stations on the loop are too.
