Congrats to the White family!

I don't see how on the current off-peak timetable. I haven't looked in detail at the peak timetable to see whether that could shave any time. Also, I see in a couple of weeks' time they are running a test of the special Olympic timetable over a long weekend Friday to Monday - I don't know if that provides any extra possibilities.

Rather frustratingly, the final train of our attempts yesterday and today arrived a full minute later than shown in the Journey Planner. I don't know if that means the JP is incorrect, as I thought unless there were passenger induced delays the DLR ran to a fixed computerised timetable.

Following on from a few websites that listed these top times threads, which have since been subsequently shut down. I thought I would step up to the altar and produce my own version.

For the moment (as a trial page) I have only done the recent DLR times as from this thread. The webpage can be viewed here www.explorerticket.co.uk/tubechallenge/dlrtop.htm

Note: This is very much work in process so the colours and layout as used may change. Other pages for the other challenges e.g. NLL, Zone 1 etc.) will be added once I have trawled through the pages to get the details of each attempt.

Well here is the full list of all recorded DLR attempts that have been made known to me. They have been sub-divided by how many stations were open at the time of the challenge being made.

Are the TO times being recorded? Pudding Mill Lane was closed, but both times I went through (dry run and actual attempt) the train stopped anyway.

News has reached me today that the DLR challenge can indeed be completed in under 2 hours.

That must have been one heck of a Gallions Reach - King George V connection. Congratulations, whoever you are!

Depressingly, this now means I no longer hold an alternative record that holds any real weight at all (LO reset, Zone 1 and DLR beaten). I shall have to check the new record, check the new timetables, see if I can't shave off some more time, and most importantly, get hold of that bus!
