He's put, as a comment under his video:
I've submitted a time of 2h 6m 12s to the person that runs the leaderboard, as they will only take it as my arrival time back at Shadwell after leaving Bank, and this it what it was! I was recording on video as i arrive, so have worked out the difference between the timestamps on the files between the start and the finish ...
If u look at Geoff videos very clever editing work u never see the actual connections I'm not saying he didn't do it shock horror andi being controversial. But he did appear to walk not run at each departure point?

What more amazes me is the Geoff Marshall fan club on Facebook and the mindless minions who believe if Geoff does a video challenge naturally it's the record 😂 but then again I'm not surprised the amount of wallies out after all they gave him 34,000 pounds
It's only a record if he does it with me :)

Given that there are only really two routes (4 if you do them the other way round!) with minor variations around Bank/Tower Gateway, you've now got me wondering if you've discovered something truly radical....

Rob used my route (albeit doing Bank and Tower Gateway the other way around to me), which may be radical or may be popular, I don't know. It's certainly not one that I've heard talked about publicly. It's certainly not the route which is most discussed.

What's worse is that he beat my time by nearly two minutes.

You can send the route for verification purposes via the dedicated email address on Explorer Ticket or send me a direct message.

This is a Central line train to "Woodford via Hainault"- sadly, not no more!

I tried the DLR challenge again on Friday (I mean I've actually been trying it at least once a fortnight all year, but I'm only going to post about it if I improve my time) and achieved a time of 1:56:33, my first time breaking the two hour mark.

Didn't really face any issues, other than being stopped at Island Gardens for a while which ultimately didn't cost me any time. There is more time to be found (clearly, as I've still three minutes off the record) but it really does need all the planets to align.
