I see no reason not to include every attempt made. Please reply to this thread with the time attained on your latest attempt. Don't post the write-up here, though, I only want to see the times so I can add them to the list. Make a new topic for your latest attempt if you want to write an account of it.

Clearly, I've omitted some results - but not deliberately. I'd like Zone 1 Challenge, so please do reply to this thread stating the time and the competitors.

Edit: Note that a sub-3-hour time doesn't even guarantee you a place in the Top Ten any more!

Very impressive, considering the current speed restrictions and the
Queensway closure, oh sorry of course one of his driver friends would have stopped there for him.....
Ric must be gutted, losing the record by over an hour.......
Sigh......... :?

Not very easy to follow....compared to some other routes I have seen...
But of course, all the great Zone 1 record attempts must start at
NHG

Apparently his contacts at LU have also permanently closed Russell Square for him, so it doesn't count any more.

And just think how much faster he could have done it if he hadn't started by doing a completely redundant trip from NHG to Bayswater...

Elephant (Bakerloo)
London Bridge (Northern)
Baker Street (Jubilee)
Edgware Road (Bakerloo)
Piccadilly Circus (Bakerloo)

Actually, with Queensway open, an NHG start (heading to EC) would be quite competitive! But the rest of his route is crap.

Actually this is great I now have my route for the Friday already mapped out for me
Even if NHG isn't the official starting station I should still be able to get from the starting station to NHG, follow this quite brilliant route and complete in around 2 hours......
Who needs to plan 34 different routes now when we have this

The number of routes to plan this year is 61  (64 - Queensway, Vauxhall and St. James's Park).

Unless you (like us) enter two teams and want to make sure they use different routes...
