Fastest times

ok, in my video I said that the record time for Zone 1 was 2 hourd 45 minutes and something. starkey has informed me that he got 2 hours, 43 minutes and something (i assumed that was 2007's winning time, yes). - so .. how out of date is the 'record times' section on this site? because it still says that 2:45 is the fastest time. anyone?

Well at one point the Underground Masker was responsible for updating them, but he appears to have fallen behind in his stewardship.

When it's working Jonny's site is the place to go, he has top times for all the alternative challenges. On my site I only list times that are sub 3 hours, including my best of 2:49:17. http://tubedragon.piczo.com/?g=20609285&cr=5

Can you please add our sub-3h time from the challenge that never was? For completeness, of course :)
Done... at great expense.

Johnny - you need to put the 2008 times onto your site!

I do indeed need to add the 2008 times, but I'm waiting at the moment for a list with names of participants rather than just team names.

Actually, maybe there is no record of who was on what teams - in which case I shall put the team names in the table and if you want it changing to say your name you can contact me either on the forum or via email.

Does that sound ok?

The individual competitors' names were on the team registration forms and I think Hakan said he'd provide this information as and when he had the time to do so. My view (for what it's worth) is that team names would be fairly meaningless in a year's time, but at least no-one would ever know exactly who recorded that slowest-ever time (our official result under the Z1CC rules was 59 stations in 4 hours, our 64 station time is given in my current signature below and my team mate was Zoe Mitchell).

OK, in that case I will wait for Hakan to have time and not bother putting up team names.

Sorry. I've been terribly busy lately - and still is. Eventually I'll try to provide the team member names, at least for the better placed teams. I don't think slowest recorded time is that interesting, really.

Don't worry about it! Whilst the full list would be nice (only really to keep the website comprehensive) but if you'd rather not, that's absolutely fine.

Well, since you have to get additional information about whether they revisited KX and so on, I don't think your list will be complete anyway. BTW, we (66 Feet Under, Håkan Wolgé, Patrick Sillén and Lars Andersson) did NOT revisit KX.

Overall, I and Patrick has done 4 Z1s. One was cut short during Z1C-06, the other 3 have allbeen sub-three hours...

By a process of elimination I can work out some of the team's

1) 66 Feet Under (Håkan Wolgé, Patrick Sillén & Lars Andersson)
2) Sex & the Waterloo & City (Phil Booth)
3) I really really need a beer (Matt Scrivin)
4) (I hope we are not) Down in the tube at midnight (Steven Karahan & James Laughlin)
5) The Chesham Bois (Matt Nunn & Ollie Lewisohn)
5) Mind the fat (Kevin & Ryan Brown)
5) Washing machines last longer with Holborn (Antony & Phil Brown)
8) Monster raving Bakerloony party (Peter Smythe)
9) I'm Finnish and that's what I intend to do, finish (Andi James & Martin Hazel)
10) I'm shore a ditch existed... (Alasdair Brown)
11) Please, seek assistance (Trevor Mitchell & Peter Wilkins)
12) The train driver and his mate (Neil Blake & Geoff Marshall)
13) Frankie goes to Chorleywood (James Tong, Jack Bynoe & Ollie Bearness?)
14) Cornish Tube Challenger (Damian & Matthew Cook)
15) Britain's got tube geeks (Justin Irwin & Richard)
16) Starkey + the Northerners (John Stark & Joy Atherton)
17) Life outside the M25 (Andrew Baker)
18) Fajita frisbees (???)
19) The Waterlosers (???)
20) Rodents (Keith Pearshouse & Sonny Rowland)
21) Railway orienteerers (Dr John Mitchell & Zoe Mitchell)

Update 19 June: Just need teams 18-19 and we're done!
