How bad is Bank?

What do you think? Should we exclude Bank from possible start stations this year? From what I can read, there may even be some Central trains not even stopping there (even though that appears to be during rush hours only). A pass through in such a case is obviously an allowed "visit" according to the rules. But my question is really:

* How bad is it, generally speaking?
* Is interchange (Cen-Nor) allowed/possible via the ticket hall, or must one get out in the street?
* Has anyone been there recently (e.g. trying to change)?
* There is no problem at Monument, is there?

I think that is an excellent idea and agree with you...... It is in a mess at the moment (from what I hear from others on the forum) and really wouldn't be a good starting station..... If I get a chance I might take a look before the R15 but not certain I will have time.....

I am going there tomorrow to check out my route possibilities but I can assure you there is no connection from the Central line to Northern line so you may find it tricky if you've got that built into your route.

I've written a route amendment that gets round having to change at Bank but it adds an extra change.

I can't see a problem starting at Bank station. After all, you can still use all of the lines that go through it - you just can't interchange between them easily. So I say leave it in as a start possibility.

That may change after my visit tomrrow mind ...

OK, I've been to Bank.

And I'm not going to tell you what it's like. You'll have to go yourselves to find out. ;)

Well, I'm not particularily worried. I added 2.5 minutes penalty in my model for a Cen-Nor change at Bank... So, not very many of the routes have a Bank change for us on Friday!

As of three weeks ago you could still use the spiral stairs between central & northern lines.

I hereby find no reason to exclude Bank from nomination as a start station tomorrow - so be it!
