Photo Quiz 13.18 and 13.20 (Closed)
As promised previously, a double round for me, to bring me back onto timetable. As this is the end of round 13, I have switched into EVL mode... unlucky for some!!

Photo 13.20:

The deadline for both of these will be Monday 25th October 2010 @ 20:00 hours. Don't worry I will be continuing into round 14.

If you're going to be EVL you're going to have to try harder than this.

Re: Photo Quiz 13.18 and 13.20
Looks like I have finally succeeded in being totally EVL with these two photos..as I have recieved a grand total of THREE entries to them! Pathetic!
So to put you all out of your misey...
Photo 13.18 shows the northernmost end of Drayton Park on the former Northern City line. This is the point at which the overhead catenary gives over to third rail for the run into Moorgate.
So, well done to greatkingrat and garion24wales who correctly located where the quizmaster was and a worthy mention to starkey, who thought I might of been at Gospel Oak.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Photo 13.20 shows the view of Hackney Central as taken from a class 317 train on the West Anglia line just south of Hackney Downs.
Congratulations go to starkey for correctly submitting the one and only answer to this particular photo. Though he does admit to having seen this from on board a StanEx!
So what shall I give you for round 14?

I thought it was Drayton Park but since when has that been on the tube map? I thought it had to be the current map! What's going on!!

Drayton Park has appeared on the Tube map as it once was part of the LU system, being part of the Northern City line into Moorgate before LU conceded ownership of the line to the then British Rail who joined it up to the East Coast Main Line at FPK for mainline stock to run on the line (which remains the status quo today). The Moorgate terminus of this line is sadly remembered as the location of the 1978 Tube crash.
As I understand it, as long as a station as appeared on the Tube map at some stage, it counts for inclusion in this quiz. I do recall an example of City Thameslink being featured of which the Thameslink line hasn't featured on Tube maps for a number of years.

Cast your mind back to quiz 13.07 where James asked if he could expand the rules to include any station that was featured on the Tube Map (or something like that)
